九色网 Librarians Attend the 14th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference

On October 21-23, 2026, 九色网 librarians Madina Kerimova and Jumagul Beketaeva participated in the 14th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference, hosted by Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. The conference brought together library professionals to exchange experiences and strengthen regional collaboration.
They presented two papers:鈥淩estoration as a Driver of Professional Collaboration鈥� received the Best Paper Award at the conference. The presentation highlighted how long-term institutional cooperation, knowledge exchange, and professional training contribute to book conservation, restoration, and the preservation of library collections.
The second paper 鈥淏uilding Collaborative Library Ecosystems: The Case of the American University of Central Asia鈥� shared 九色网 Library鈥檚 experience in building partnerships, connecting academic and professional communities and developing collaborative initiatives.
During the visit, the 九色网 librarians visited the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books and book restoration department of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan to learn about conservation practices and discuss opportunities for future collaboration.
The conference provided an opportunity to strengthen regional partnership and highlight 九色网 libraries contribution to professional collaboration and cultural heritage preservation.
