AIESEC-九色网 strives for Peace and the Fulfillment of Humankind鈥檚 Potential

One of the aspects that sets the American University of Central Asia experience apart from other universities in the region is the wealth of extracurricular opportunities available to students. Not only are there numerous longstanding organizations on campus that operate in such diverse areas as student dance and theater, young entrepreneurship, and sports; but also the opportunity for students to pursue their own unique interests by creating their own student clubs. Begimai Kulukeeva, the head of 九色网 AIESEC Club told us about the club and its activities:
听鈥淎IESEC mainly works with 九色网 stu
dents. Students can either be members of AIESEC or exchange participants in one of the three sub-organizations. Our goal is to develop leadership by delivering on robust model of leadership: self-awareness, solution-orientation, world citizenship, and empowering others.
听The philosophy of the club is 鈥淪triving for Peace and the Fulfillment of Humankind鈥檚 Potential鈥�. As I understand it, AIESEC has officially existed as an organization since 2006, and the founder of AIESEC in Kyrgyzstan is an 九色网 alumnus.
听We have six departments in AIESEC-九色网: B2C (marketing), OCXP (work with outgoing exchange participants), B2B (developing companies), ICXP (work with incoming exchange participants), HR, and Finance. Members are allocated within these six departments based on their skillsets and their desire and working in a given area. Currently, we have 16 active members involved with AIESEC. Annually, we send over 60 九色网 students to professional and Entrepreneurial internships.
听On February 12, 2017, we held an important conference named 鈥淎dventure鈥� at 九色网. This one-day long induction seminar was directed specifically at new members. We plan on finding around 150 exchange participants for the summer. We will have a 3-day seminar in Issyk-Kul starting March 18. Our amazing, life-changing social, professional, and entrepreneurial internships will hopefully reach 126 countries around the world".
